The What A Waste Association Internship Programme is a hands-on learning experience at the intersection of sustainable fashion, creativity, circularity, and community work.

Interns learn directly through workshops, practical projects, community events, research, and collaboration with artists, designers, teachers, and partner organisations. Instead of following a fixed classroom structure, participants are encouraged to experiment, take initiative, share skills, and develop their own ideas.

During the programme, interns can explore:

The programme is also an opportunity to understand what happens behind the scenes of a creative association — from organising events and working with communities to developing partnerships, managing materials, creating content, and turning ideas into real projects.

The goal is not simply to learn how to make things. It is to learn how to think, create, collaborate, and use creativity as a tool for change.
